Yeditepe University Eye Center is an eye disease center established on January 17, 2007 in an area of 2.250 m² in the university. Eye Center, which serves Yeditepe University Hospital, is a center of eye diseases that produces students and assistants in Ophthalmology Department and produces services with 11 state-of-the-art technologies. The aim of Yeditepe University Eye Center is; Is to provide the quality, the best service and the smile for the eyes of the patients while presenting the reliability, professionalism and scientific methods of the university.
Our headquarters has a sub-structure and technology fully equipped with intelligent systems. The operating rooms were made with the "laminate flow" system. With this system, the most hygienic environment that can be in the operating room is provided. Therefore, the risk of infection during operation is almost eliminated. At Yeditepe University Eye Center where sterilization is of great importance, all patient beds are washed with pressurized steam.
Hospital Information System (HIS) software is used in Yeditepe University Eye Center. Thanks to this software, it is possible to quickly collect and process patient information as well as present patient’s specific results on a computer. Thanks to the HIS system, the doctors can follow the patient in the electronic environment while out of the hospital.
